I have a PSP 3000 and before I knew about downloading games and all that stuff I decided to update it to PSP version 6.20(What a stupid Idea!) and so far online I have found no way to downgrade it so I can download games to it(DAM YOU SONY AND UR FIRMWARE!!! I USED TO LOVE YOU AND UR TECHNOLOGICALLY ADVANCEDEDNESS!!!!!!) so... If anyone knows if I don't have to downgrade my PSP TELL ME and all that stuff. Please help a poor desperate fella out... I want that dam assassins creed bloodlines! ... 999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999,999 Hypothetical U.S. dollars to anyone who knows how without buying a new one and without BRICKING MY PSP!... NOTE: only hypothetical... but valuable........... if you are crazy.

When you buy a PSP 3000, what is the firmware version it starts out with? I plan to hack my PSP 3000 when I buy one for BACKUP PURPOSES ONLY. No worries I DO NOT intend to do pirating or anything like that. I think I find it more efficient and easier to have like all your games in one place for easy access and to avoid the hassle of bringing so many game discs with you where ever you go. Anyways when you buy it fresh out of the store what's the firmware version it starts out with? I heard that version 6.02 or something is not hackable yet and that the PSP 3000 firmware version can not be downgraded. If it happens to be lower then how would I update it to version 5.03 without letting the PSP update it to the latest version automatically?

Hello. I have a piano black PSP (PlayStation Portable) with version 5.03. I want to upgrade it to version 6.20. I already went to network settings and downloaded it. Now I go to games and download It, I start it and the white thing with PSP logo comes out ( just like when you play games). Then it says"The update cannit be started. The data is corrupted (SGT90000001)". It has "o Back" I click o and I can see the green background with the start button then the PSP closes and it opens again. How do I upgrade to 6.20?? Please Help! PS: THE PSP IS FULLY CHARGED 100%!!!

i have a psp and by mistake I connected it to the original PlayStation Network and got the original version 6.20 of my PSP 2004. And after that my warranty of psp is finished as i bought it 1 year before. Now I want to play pirated games on my psp but cannot because of original version I wanted to hack it again and play some memory , pirated, torrent games on it I wanted some help of hackers who can help me . I know that it may be impossible now but I guess it will come soon . after one year. Please help me.

So ive just recently downloaded go tube from http://pspslimhacks.com/gotube-version-1-released-psptube-clone/ but when i tried to open it from my GAME/Memory Stick folder on my PSP it said "This game cannot be started. The data is corrupted." What does that mean? AND when i looked at other sites talking about how to properly install gotube people were talking about required firmware m33 or something. what is that and do i need to download it? so pretty much can you pleassssee just tell me exactly how to successfully work GoTube so i can watch videos???! x( Oh and heres the the info about my PSP.... i have a new PSP 3000 Slim currently i only have a 1GB memory card. is that enough space? also i have the most recent Version 6.20 update.
