4 Stars The best for everyday gameplay
I had the original Logitech case for the PSP 1000 and thought it was perfect. It provided great protection for my entire system.

Unfortunately, when I got the PSP Slim, I was out of luck. The original case was just too big and the PSP bounced around inside.

The case Sony makes looks similar to the Logitech version and is a great alternative, but is too bulky for my daily gameplay needs.

Nerf has a great case as well, but because it doesn’t cover the UMD door (so you can leave the PSP in the case at all times) my PSP picked up nicks and scratches on the door.

Finally, after a long wait, Logitech brings out the best case for my needs. It covers the entire PSP, where it fits snugly and locks tight when closed. It’s also slim enough for me to enjoy regular gameplay without having to remove the system, and the door holds itself in place regardless of how wide or narrow you open it up, which can be helpful when sunlight is a problem. It can also accommodate the larger extended life batteries that Sony has since discontinued.

The so-called customizable face leaves a bit to be desired since it basically asks you to print whatever you want and then cut it to fit between the rubber & polycarbonate. It’s not something I’m going to do since I think the case looks fine as it is.

4 Stars Great way to protect, store and veiw your PSP.
Having already owned the original Playgear Pocket for the “phat” PSP, when I bought my slim, I was clamoring for Logitech to make a version for the new PSP model.

Just like the original playgear pocket this case provides excellent protection for your PSP, the outside is clear dense plastic, and your PSP fits snuggly inside within a rubberized casing that covers both the top and bottom of the system. Additionally, you can use the Playgear Pocket as a viewing station for movies and such by simply flipping the top to the back, thus standing the system up.

Another cool aspect of the playgear pocket is that you can customize the cover to change up the look of your system. By removing the top inner rubber layer, you can place an image inside and then reinstall the rubber. Mind you, the image is one that you will have to find, print out and then cut to the shape of the cover, and in the package, Logitech supplies you with the template shape. Unfortunately it is here where I have to give the Playgear Slim its one fault. The template they give is NOT a precise fit. The lower portion of the template is not accurate and when you cut a design out using the template you will see that the lower indented areas are too short for the case, leaving some of the rubber visible. Now this is not a big fault, but its something that should not have happened and could have been avoided with some simple measuring on the part of Logitech. Im a big person on customization and looks so I had to mention this, because its really the only problem with this case.

Also be advise that this will add some weight and bulk to the PSP, so if youre looking for something really lightweight and sleek, this might not be the case for you. But if you are looking for a multifunction case that is built like a tank, then look no further

5 Stars PSP Logitech PlayGear Pocket Slim
Since I bought my PSP-Slim in June, I was using the Sony PSP Slim case. This case was bulky and it defeated the purpose of owning a Slim PSP. I just received the Logitech PlayGear Pocket Slim today and it’s great. The PSP fits well. The case “hugs” the PSP so that it doesn’t rattle or move around at all. All the necessary holes are there for the headphone/remote jack and power adapter connection. The PSP is easily playable while still in the case. I highly recommend this case for any PSP-2000 owners.

5 Stars Does Exactly What You Need It To Do
When I ordered this on Amazon, I was hoping that it wouldn’t be some sloppy redesign of the original PSP case. Well I am happy to say that this case lives up to the quality that was present in other Logitech cases from the other generations.

All of the ports have ample access room, except for the USB port on the top that requires for the PSP to be removed. Hard plastic covers the PSP from head to toe and the rubber fitment in the case cradles the PSP with no wiggle room. Logitech also sends out stencils with the case, allowing you to slip in any piece of artwork that you desire so that it is visible from the outside. The hinges are strong and they will hold the cover at whatever angle you like. When the cover is opened all the way, it acts as a stand that lets your PSP stand at a 45% angle that is good for displaying the console. The bottom of the case is also a neat little feature that exposes the “PSP” logo ring on the back of the PSP. Since I have the God of War: Red PSP, the combination of black and red go really well together.

Overall, this is a great PSP case that not only protects the PSP, but makes sure that all of your essentials are accommodated. You could definitely take this on the road with you without hesitation and I recommend it to anyone who is willing to invest in the protection of their PSP.

4 Stars okay
the case is big as the old logitech case and i feel like you can use this the psp 1000 ,but isn’t it suppose to be a psp 2000 case cause theres 2 parts in the case that have the same lenght on the left and right part of the case but one is for the fat battery to go in if you have it and the other feeling i have it is for first generation is that theres some space between the screen and the case when i close it making it move a little in the case if i drop it.

4 Stars The Case That You Can Leave On!
I’ve owned the Logitech Playgear Pocket for my PSP (Fat version). It was a serviceable case that protected my system during transport. However, because the case was too clunky to play with it on, I was still required to remove the unit while playing. As a result, I still ended up with slight scratches on my system.

I recently purchased a PSP Slim and I was looking for a better solution for protection. My search on Google for “best PSP slim protection” returned the Joytron Crystal Skin case. I proceeded to read numerous reviews on the case – which were primarily positive experiences. I was particularly attracted to the extremely slim design, crystal clear plastic, and easy access to the essentials without the removal of the case (unlike the Logitech). So I plunked $[...] for the Joytron case. None of my local shops carry it, so I had to order it online through Amazon. [...]

Shipping was super fast with email communication. It comes in a box with Korean writing on it. English instructions were provided inside. I also received a complimentary portable mini stand allowing me to prop up the PSP to watch movies on a table. One thing to remember is that the case does NOT protect the screen. This allows you to apply/replace a screen protector of your choice. I applied the Invisible Shield by Zagg to my screen prior to installing the case. Case was pretty easy to install. You just have to be careful not to damage the hooks that holds the pieces together…as they feel a bit fragile. Installation was very easy – it took about 15 minutes. Everything fits very snuggly around the system.

With the case on, my PSP Slim feels quite nice to play without very noticeable bulk. Paired with the Invisible Shield, I can confidently put it into my pocket quickly without juggling with a separate case. Offers protection from scratches and fingerprints. However, because of the slim design, it will not protect the PSP from drops. I highly recommend this case!

5 Stars Best PSP case ever!!!
Hey guys, I am doing a review for the system skin case from joytron for the psp slim. I know that you might have a new or already own a psp slim but you are afraid it will get scratches or dirty right? Well with the Joytron system skin case you wont need to worry about your psp getting those things. It is a crystal clear case that is almost unnoticeable and is very slim to go with the psp. Its is a very strong case and is recommended to anyone who has a psp. You will have access to all ports and buttons and will be able to open your umd door. The case comes in 4 pieces that are easy to install and hooks to the main front piece that goes on the front of the psp. One piece actually holds on the umd door itself so you can open it. Its not expensive and can be bought from nuritech.com. I have bought one from them and i am very glad i did. I had dropped my God Of War psp but luckily I had the case on and my psp had no damage and no scratches. I really recommend it.

5 Stars Amazing Case. Beats all the other cases.
Wow. I don’t know where to start with this product. It’s so amazing and so sleek. I love how it just snaps together in 4 pieces. Shipping was outstanding. It came in only 3 days!! When I first opened the package, I thought wow, cool box!! But when I took the case out, I thought “Oh wow, its going to be one of those junk cases!” I got pretty mad. But! When I firmly put it on my PSP, it was sooo cool! It maybe added a LITTLE weight, but it well protect your PSP for sure. Although, the hooks are EXTREMELY fragile, so let’s not forget that.

5 Stars Best Case Ever
I like the joytron case because unlike comparable cases it leaves all ports open. It is not bulky like the official sony case. It also has four pieces that fit perfectly onto the psp. I wouldn’t recommend dropping it but I did and it stayed on.

5 Stars Is it worth it? Yes it is.
I ordered a new Slim PSP special edition. So here I was with my brand new system that I wanted to protect. I began to shop around for skins-case that would protect my system while allowing me to show it off. I found the Sony clear plastic case that is designed for the Slim PSP… OMG is that thing huge. It literally defeats the purpose of the slim in my opinion. So I kept looking and found the Logitech version… same problem, its thick, very thick. Don’t get me wrong I am sure that they do a great job of protecting the PSP, but they were not what I was looking for. Just as I am about ready to give up on my search I came across an unknown (to me) name producing a clear skin that they promote as Slim… I did a little checking and reading up on the product and figured that it was probably about as close as I could come to what I wanted. So I ordered it. I found it on eBay and thought well several feedbacks from them said that the seller was a good dealer, didn’t see anything to put me off. When I saw that it had free shipping I started to think “oh no” but I went ahead and got it. First let me say that I paid on Monday, and with the free shipping they offered… it was here Wednesday, already a good start. I opened the brown box and found what surprised me. Considering what I paid for the skin the quality of the box was very high. I know what you’re thinking, what does the box have to do with it, but consider this, they didn’t have to spend the money to make a quality box if they knew they were selling something cheap. So I opened the box that actually contained the skin and pulled out a funny kind of sticky but not really piece of plastic that had wrapped up my new skin. I began to unwrap my skin and my first impression was “wow this thing is thin, and it seems kind of flimsy” but that was before I installed it. Installation was about as simple as it can get. When I had it in place, (4 parts, a few simple snaps, and a quick polish before I began) I no longer had the impression that it was a cheap product. I began to see exactly why they went the way they did with their design. My PSP still feels thinner then an original PSP. It does not feel any heavier. Best of all, It does exactly what I wanted. I can still connect each and every cable, strap, and device I used to connect before the skin was installed. I can still place my PSP on my docking station to charge it while I watch videos on my HDTV. My PSP still fits in my hand dock charger that extends battery life with giving a better grip. I barely even notice it’s on there, that is until I drop my PSP (about 2 feet) and have an instant “OH CRAP” reaction. I picked it up and did a very thorough inspection. I found the scratch, on my new skin. It saved my PSP. That right there is why I bought this skin and it has already paid for itself. Oh and by the way, even though my skin is scratched, it did not crack and still protects exactly as it used to. The only thing that could make this skin better would be to include a LCD protector with it. That’s not a big deal they sell those too. So do yourself (and your PSP) a favor and pick up one of these and a screen protector. You won’t be disappointed, oh and they come in various color styles if you don’t like the clear.

10 out of 10

Thank you Joytron.
