User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star New models incompatible with Xlink Kai
Unlike the original model, the new revision of the Wifi Max is incompatible with Xlink Kai, a program that allows you to play Ad Hoc PSP games over the internet.

3 Stars Please Justify
I’ve used this before and it’s a decent item but the price of 70+ isn’t justifiable for it nor warranted for it. Like people have said this thing is a hassle to get up and running in the first place. If you want a 4 player team for Monster Hunter Freedom however you may want one of these. Since I’m hearing these may be phased out in the coming year that makes the price less viable. These usually go fo 29 – 34 with overnight shipping bringing it to 50-60 not a penny more. If you can deal with getting your hands dirty it’s a better idea to purchase an old linksys router with firm ware you’re able to mod and do it that way. Less pain and alot less cost.

1 Star WIFI JUNK
Could not get it to work. Many other reviews say the same thing. Don’t buy!! Still waiting for refund!!

5 Stars Its 2008, how old is everyone?
I don’t understand it. We have kids at the age of 8 that can hack another computer, yet we still have people that cannot get this simple piece of hardware to work. Its always two simple problems, their anti-(X) software gets in the way or they just never clicked the box to share and internet connection with other computers allowing the dongle to work properly.

1 Star Won’t work
When this thing had finally arrived, I was all hyped up and ready to have some fun with people on Xlink Kai and MHF1. I did not have fun though, as the product would only allow me to connect to the game to the point where I could see other players name, but was unable to play with the people.

Open Question: Little Big Planet PSP 3000: Connecting to the internet.?

February 13th, 2010 PSP Reviews No comments
I recently bought a game for my new PSP 3000 called "Little Big planet". I'm really enjoying the game, but I have not been able to access levels created by others that are meant to be on the internet. Here's is what I do, maybe you can tell me what I am doing wrong and how to fix it, thank you very much! I turn on the PSP, start the game and the languages come up. I chose English. When it finishes loading, the LittleBigPlanet comes up. I click the left button to take me to community moon, and select "Go Online!". It begins to connect to my internet connection. (The access point etc) I then login to what I think is the 'PSP website'. After successfully logging in, it informs me this exact Fraze: "You need to upgrade your version of . Please upgrade from your System patching facility." I don't understand what this means, and therefore how to do it. Thanks for telling me what to do!
