More specifically, I'd like to extract images from them.... Is there a program out there I can use to view .dat contents and/or extract?
I've got a PSP 1000 (or Fat PSP) with 5.50 GEN-D (Full) according to the System Information tab in the settings, and I believe that a Pandora has been used on my PSP(I got it repaired by a friend so I didn't do this.)
I know of a game that can be downloaded onto the PSP, but it is a modified version where the original is in Japanese and the modified is now in english. I really want to play this game and short of learning Japanese this is my only other known option.
So, I want to know:
1) Will the game work on the PSP?
2) How do I install it into the PSP(Please, do not link to videos. Link to a page with images and text)? Thank You for any help.

I just updated my M33 to a 5.50 GEN-B, and I just downloaded some games, like Assassins creed, and Silent Hill. Theirs only one problem though. Theirs is no ISO or CSO file in them. The file comes in a .zip file. when I open it, their is a folder in it called, (PSP)Silent_Hill_Shattered_Memories [USA][FIX].
When I open that up, I get a folder called "ISO"
When I open that folder up, inside, their is a .zip file called, (PSP)Silent_Hill_Shattered_Memories [USA][FIX]
If I would to extract that file, I would get, a UMD_DATA.BIN file, and a PSP_GAME folder, in their, it just has some images, 2 folders called SYSDIR, and USRDIR, and a PARAM.SFO file.
I don't understand how to play it though, because the comments the torrent has are all positive. The comments of the torrents are in the link - http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/150473609/silent+hill+psp?tab=comments and the link for the assassins creed torrent, which is the same type as the silent hill game - http://isohunt.com/torrent_details/143068117/assassins+creed+psp?tab=comments please someone help tell me how to play it, because it says on the read me to place the ISO Folder in the ISO folder on my memory stick, but I cant find it on my PSP. If I put it in the GAME folder, it comes up as corrupt data.
