1 Star Would have been better if they just skipped a year!!!
The title should tell you how bad this game frustrated me. I saw the average rating on this game and thought, OMG, someone else could fall for that and have the same problem I am having. Here is how it goes:

Oh, what a cool splash screen, the typical “It’s in the game”, followed by Mcnabb staring you down. And staring… And staring… So, you watch a few minutes of your favorite TV show (on another device), and then pause to start up a franchise.

This takes a bit, as you start off in training camp, and have a great time watching almost 40 minutes of tv show during loading between camp options and menu screens. (Not joking, it was actually 1.5 hours of tv fast forwarded through commercial)

Once that is done, you are off to your first Pre-Season. Now, you have a great game and win!!! Hooray! Then you get back to updating all of your favorite players using the Assistant Coach (which is a GREAT feature), but you will have a few bugs to jump through. Oh yeah, more waiting involved for outstanding load times. No problem, this game is a blast! Madden ANYWHERE!

Play game two, and spank that loser AI team with one hand on the controller. Such fun, let’s end the game and move on the regular season…. But wait, why is my screen black??? I didn’t turn it off…

After turning it back on, you are greeted to the PSP Splash screen… You didn’t save after your first game, actually, you didn’t save from the start of your franchise!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!

Loop that 3x and that is what happened to me before I flung the UMD for distance! It was a great toss by the way.

Hope you enjoyed.

3 Stars ok but could be better
This game is an ok game of football, especially for a handheld. My main complaints are: 1. The graphics aren’t as good as other psp games i’ve played 2. The game occasionally gets stuck, but not as much as people have been saying and 3. Several features have been taken out such as instant replay and create a player. Bottom line: if you like football, than I would consider getting this, but if you aren’t dying for it, I would wait for another football game.

3 Stars “A New Preview”
This game is the best the PSP has to offer as of now. It’s amazing that everyone is already talking about Madden 2007. Just to give you a spoiler, Shaun Alexander is on the cover of Madden 2007.

4 Stars Good game, not great!
Madden Football 2006, well, you might want to get it on PS2. Sure, this is a good football game for a handheld but it is much better on a TV. For one thing, you cannot challenge plays, I hate that. The graphics are pretty good and it will entertain you when your not near a TV. Pretty good buy.

4 Stars Wonderful, entertaining, long-lasting game
I think some people do not realize that the PSP is a portable device, and therefore, it’s not going to have as much conect as a current-gen console due to hardware limitations (unless someone wanted to pay a lot more than $300 or so for a portable “console” like the PSP).

This game is fun, keeps you entertained, and is rather easy to pickup, especially if you have played football games before.

Ever since I was a kid, I have been playing Madden, my favorite Madden game “back in the day” was Madden on the Sega Genesis (”Seeeeeeeeggggggggggaaaaaaaaaa”).

This game does a good job. However, I have noticed a few weird things. Like sometimes you’ll be beating a team by a rather large margin, then all of a sudden the computer AI turns into a genius and makes the game a closer game. I think it’s sorta like the “catch up” option featured in a lot of racing games.

Overall, a good game if you realize this is for a handheld, and not a console.

5 Stars Great baseball game
Great baseball game, been playing it for a while now and it gets pretty addictive… Especially the online feature, which I’ve had some issues lately…

5 Stars Great Game
I enjoyed this game a lot. I already have it for the ps2, but i wanted to take it on the road with me. The graphics are great for such a small disc.

The only downside is the fact that there is no fantasy draft or franchise mode. Other than that this is an amazing game!

5 Stars Great Baseball game for the PSP
This is a great baseball game for the PSP! The graphics are crisp and the controls are easy to use. Also it has the “road to the show” mode where you can create a player and guide him from the minors all the way to the bigs. The level of depth in this is really awesome and it’s truly addictive. I am so glad I made this purchase, you will not be disappointed!!

4 Stars Great Basseball
This game is really great. If your you are a fanatic of the baseball games, surely you enjoy it. The only detail is that they do not appear the Humpires and that I do not like much. For that reason, For that reason I do not give 5 stars him.

5 Stars Great Baseball on the Go!
What’s great about this game? I can’t actually play it on the go. A lot of psp games, really aren’t pick up and play games. The Show is, which is awesome. It only takes a few minutes to get into a game, and if I don’t finish, no worries. The power save feature is fantastic. I don’t have to turn on the game, and remember what I was doing. This game offers plenty of modes, although I’m dissappointed there isn’t a franchise mode.

The game looks great for the PSP, PS2 quality imo. It runs smooth most of the time. I’ve been playing this game for months, and it still has me coming back for more. It doesn’t seem to get stale. The worst part for me is during RTHS it’s hard to see the ball at first if you play the infield. So reaction can be a little bit slow. Overall this game provides me with endless hours of fun on the go, anytime, anywhere. Great game for baseball fans on the go.

Madden NFL 07

In Madden NFL 07, you’ll control the running game like never before. For the first time ever, step up as the lead blocker to create a hole, then take control of the tailback and smash through, overpower, or slash away from would-be tacklers – as you fight for every yard. Innovative rushing controls give you a game-breaking ground attack featuring all-new jukes, cutbacks, and the distinct running styles of your favorite backs. Between the tackles or in the open field, run to daylight with Madden NFL 07. Smaller backs escape and break tackles, while bigger runners bowl over defenders in the open field Scout collegiate prospects with the all-new NFL Draft Scouting System and during the College All-Star Game Watch players impact their teams with the new Franchise Player Roles feature Team-Specific Defensive Playbooks – For the first time, use actual plays from your favorite team’s defensive playbook to shut down the running game, pressure the quarterback, or force key turnovers

2 Stars madden nfl
I know why this game gets great reviews. This game offers great graphics, the commentary is great, etc. But here is my problem, the game plays itself! If you want to purchase a game, and have little interaction. This is your game. You have hardly any interaction with defense, which is most of you game time. You have hundreds of plays to pick, which have the time do not work. Your selection of what to do is great. EA has spent alot of time making it a “fancy” game, but let the interaction to a minimum.

You kinda sit back and let the game play itself on defense. You have no controls on the level of difficulty. When you play the cpu and on offensive, I hike the ball less that a second I am sacked. I am like, WHAT? The game itself is very frustrating. Every went to an arcade game, you put your quarter in, and a second later, your dead?

Yes, the game has great graphics, great commentary, great playbooks, etc. etc. But if you are just wanting to watch a game, you have purchase the right game. If you want to interact with the game. Purchase something else.

5 Stars Madden NFL 07
I bought this game for my nephew. He loves it.

5 Stars Full featured Madden 07
Apart from the screen size this version is hardly distinguisable from the PS2 port. Almost seemless gameplay and commentary. Keeps me busy for hours taking the Colts back to the Superbowl!

5 Stars Whatever you chose to pay it on
This keeps my boyfriend in place. He will play this for hours on hand. Now it is portable for him.

5 Stars Finally a good game in which your brother or sister cant pull the plug on
Handhelds just hit an all-time high. Madden 06 took forever, and 07 had a lot of bugs. Im a big fan of handhelds because I always had a problem playing with others, and most of the people I play are sore losers. I really had fun with the PSP Madden. Maybe 08 will have less bugs and a super bowl celebration when you win. C’mon EA you really made it seem like winning it all wasn’t a big deal. And how about a more detailed sideline that isnt barren and dirty unis when you play on muddy surface. Other than that it is a very good football fix.

4 Stars BEST BASEBALL GAME YET
MLB 08 for the PSP is a very fun and exciting game. One thing that is great about this game is that when you play homerun derby it is alot easier to hit homeruns then it is in the other baseball games. For example in MLB 06 the game you have to time it perfectly hit a homerun and it can get really annoying. But in this game, all you have to do is wait till the ball comes to you and then hit it and usually it will be a homerun. Also the gameplay in this game is great because the contorls are easy and it makes the game very fun. The graphics on the other are the greatest I have ever seen because the people stil look like dots and the character models coul be better. But overall I think this game is great and fans that like baseball games should defenately get this game so I am giving it a 4/5
