Open Question: What’s wrong with my PSP d-pad/hardware?

Earlier today I was bored so I decided to play Persona 3 Portable, however, when I loaded my saved file my cursor suddenly just started to move to the left on its own. Assuming that this issue was just as simple as my left arrow on my d-pad sticking I decided to exit out of the game and see if the problem persists on the PSP menu and it didn't. Confused, I restarted the game and the problem still existed but only during the time I had to control the cursor and not during the title screen menus. To make sure this was a problem with my PSP and not the game I tried out other games. The first game I tried was the original Persona game which ran d-pad-error free as far as I could tell. The next game I tried was Castlevania: Dracula-X Chronicles which didn't have the sticking issue either. The last game I tried was Hexyz Force which did have the sticking issue during gameplay (my character kept walking to the left). Can someone tell me what this problem may be and a solution for it if there is one? My PSP model is a 3000 Piano Black. I just what people on here have to say before doing anything rash.

Open Question: “Multi-poll” survey!?

July 20th, 2010 PSP Reviews No comments
Random questions. (: 1. Who's your all-time favourite video game character? 2. What's a book you like? 3. What's your favourite quote (video games, movies, etc.)? 4. What's the worst book, movie, or video game ever? 5. Have you ever cried after beating a video game or watching a video game ending? If so, which one? Yeah, pretty random questions. Here's my answers (yeah, I think you guys won't agree with me, but they're my opinions): 1. Zack Fair (hahaha, yeah I'm crazy, but hey, he's a real hero.) 2. The Picture of Dorian Gray (Classic book, I guess). 3. I have a bunch. "All your base are belong to us!" "You spoony bard!" 4. Twilight. (No offence, but Dracula would be pretty ashamed.) 5. Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII. (I knew what the ending was gonna be, but I cried anyways. Dude, it's the best PSP game I own.) This is my own quote: "It was a night of beginnings, endings, and rejoice, and, for a moment, our destinies were intertwined. Intertwined destinies. Because we're meant to be." - Cedar Xu I'm a girl and even I can't even take Twilight. FINAL FANTASY FAN!!!! XD
