Datel PSP Action Replay 1GB

The full code engine powered Action Replay PSP is here! After a lengthy development, the full power of Action Replay has been turned on the PSP giving you access to the type of codes that have made Action Replay world famous on platforms like DS, GBA, PSP

Additonal Images

At last you can transform your PSP games with codes like Infinite Ammo, Infinite Lives, Disable AI, Hypermode, Moon Gravity, Walk Thru Walls and Super Unlocks, getting you past seemingly-impossible points or breathing new life into games youve already completed.
How It Works

PSP Action Replay 1GB comes on a special memory card which must be inserted in your PSP whenever you use Action Replay. Also included in the box is a special Action Replay Battery Enabler to modify your PSP battery to work with Action Replay – just pop the battery in, press a button and youre done!

2 Stars Buyer Beware
Buyer Beware, no truer words spoken. I received my PsP action replay last week and had a devil of a time trying to get it to work. To begin with, don’t bother with Datel’s customer service. They do not cover the action replay for Psp. Secondly, make sure your PsP has the most recent firmware upgrade (Once I upgraded the PsP itself the action replay worked fine.) You may also have to go to www.pspar.com. for the firmware download for the action replay as well. There is also a codelist that will download but it hasn’t been updated since January. Be aware that you CAN NOT view what codes are being downloaded so you won’t know if your game is supported until you reboot the Psp. Also, the codejunkies website for it is a joke. None of the community saves are active to download. The Action Replay itself does not support every single Psp Title (this is also a fault with the Action Replay for the DS)so those of you with Darkstalkers or the Sega Genesis collection are SOL. I tried it with some of my other games that were supported and it works OK. Some of the Castlevania codes are glitchy and you can get stuck at the end of levels but cheat codes are infamous for things like that. This could have been so much better than what it is. I am not surprised that it is unavailable in stores. It is sad that there is little to no support for it, there are no on-line sites either for save downloads and those that exist, again, only have certain games and the majority of those downloads are corrupt.

5 Stars Awesome Armax
This was a little tricky to install but i got it going and I love it I can acuaally play the games I a have now !

1 Star Doesn’t work
I just got my PSP Action Replay today, and it doesn’t work. I did what the manual told me to do, but after putting the battery in after putting it through the converter, the light automatically turns on by it’s own and the PSP doesn’t start.

I don’t know if this is because I have one of the older versions of the PSP, but this product doesn’t work for me.

1 Star If you have OFW 5.02 do not get!
I’ve recently purchased this product, I have offical firmware 5.02. I tried using the Action Replay but it did not work. Before I used the product I had to download an update patch. I have tried contacting datel about the product with no reply back on how I am suppose to fix this problem.

My suggestion is don’t buy if you have OFW 5.02, the only thing you’ll get is an extra memory card “1GB”, and a battery switcher so you can switch your battery into “pandora mode” and back again, which has so far proved useless for I tried installing CFW, with no success with the switched battery.

The memory card is a “Micro SD” inside of a adapter. It is good if you want to use a cheaper MicroSD card for a psp memory stick.

That’s about the only good things I have come to use this product for.

5 Stars Datel, you’ve done it again!
Action Replay PSP is a powerful tool. Currently lacking a few big titles on it’s codelist, it’s still amazing.

It formats your battery, rather than relying on a UMD, and comes with a dedicated 1GB memory stick. With these two enhancements, there’s no need for me to carry around extra tools and such, which I must still do for my DS. Action Replay boots up whenever you reboot your PSP, but you can also turn it off as well.

The best feature, and the thing that earns it five stars, is the ability to turn codes on and off in game by pressing the R and Home buttons simultaneously. This is great, because previously, I’ve had to save and reboot my cheatdevices and games just to swap out one code; thjis new feature is a breeze, and makes things very easy.

Way to go Datel! You keep going in this direction, and Gameshark will be out of business before you know it!
