5 Stars hack link
Gone are the days of using your intellect and mastery of the controls to get through the map. Now, you hang on and I guess if its summertime and you are 10, you play over and over to learn the map thoroughly. The best thing about the original Sonic on Genesis was the imagination inventing puzzles and bosses. Now, the levels are stunningly pretty, and you go fast, and the bosses suck and the control is not trustworthy. I won’t play anything where I can’t control the character because the system is too busy doing something else, which begs the question : It’s 2d, why is it so hard to

5 Stars Great Price and Wonderful Game
I received this game in perfect condition. I play it as well as my grandsons. I would recommend this game to anyone

3 Stars fun if running is all you’re looking for
i’m a huge sonic fan so i’ll buy any game i can, provided i have the console to play it. when i saw one copy of sonic rivals at kmart, i had to buy it. my favorite thing about sonic games was running fast. not looking for emeralds, or shooting targets, but running. and that’s really all you get out of this game. as mentioned by past reviewers, the story mode is useless, it’s basically the same for every character, and it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense to begin with. after you’ve done all the story modes you get a chance to collect cards, which in turn gets you different suits, racing cups, etc. but having to play through the levels over and over again does get very boring, even if you do like running. the levels have different paths you can take so as to change it up a bit, but if you press the wrong button each time, you’re stuck going through the same path every time. the levels also have a lot of pitfalls, literally. you have to memorize where they are, otherwise you fall and you die. and then your opponent wins. and then you have to play the level over again. so if you like the running aspect of sonic games and not much else, then this game is fun for a week or two. but i would recommend buying a used copy. a new one at $20 isn’t worth it.

1 Star Sonic Rivals not fun
Older guy rating a kids game so consider that with my review. But, I didn’t get this game at all. So, this one’s for kids only.

3 Stars its ok
