I got this Sony PSP (Just like this http://www.cafegadgets.com/crazy-images/enlarge/PSP-Slim-Base-Pack-Black.jpg ) , I was soo happy with it. I turned the the power on, and opened the first game, 1 min passed and my smile had turned into like "what?" when the PSP shutted down. I thought it might be the battery's low, I charged it, but the charger was dis-connecting every 5 sec. Anyway, I went to the store, and I replaced the charger with a new one, and went home and charged it, but it's still disconnecting, I went to the store again, and they replaced the Battery. I went home and charged it, and it charged without disconnecting.
But when I open the PSP and started to play, 7 mins and then it froze and then shutted down with its own and the power is on, but without the light lighting green. I powered on the PSP again, and it worked, mins later and it froze again and shutted down. Everytime I open the game it do the same thing. I play for like 7 mins, and it shutted down with its own, without even letting me save the game, so I resume playing it again.
It's driving me crazy, cuz it was supposed to be my Birthday gift and it costed me a lot to buy it, and I didn't even enjoy playing with it. Someone please help me. Knowing that the games I play with are downloaded, and not CDs, or whatever. And please, this is my first time I buy a PSP, so be permissive with your words. Thanks.

It's a silver Sony PSP that I very rarely use. I got it as a birthday gift about a year and a half ago and since then It's basically just been collecting dust. I want to sell it because I just don't use it. So. It's in great condition, other than a few minor scratches on the back. I'm selling it with 6 games, 1 movie, and an expensive carrying case that's hard plastic and it holds 2 games inside. I'm trying to sell it on ebay or craigslist. So, to sum it up, I'm selling a gently used sony PSP with a carrying case, 6 games, and a movie. I'm going to ask $180 for it. What would you pay for it?
and am I asking too much for it?
any answers are appreciated.

Also, the PSP costed $200 for just the console (Although it came with a game)
and the games were averaged $30 each.
And another like $30 for the memory card that i bought.

I'm currently a high school junior, and my friend is a senior. He's turning 18 this month and going off to college next year, so I'd like get him something memorable and thoughtful. A group of his friends and I have pooled together roughly $200, so our budget is around $300 or $400, if we push it. He's an incredibly hard-working student, so I think he should get something fun. He already has a Wii, PSP, and iPod Nano, though he doesn't have the time, nor games/resources to fully utilize them. In fact, I'm fairly certain his aunt bought him those. O_o I wanted to get him a laptop so he could Facebook with us when he's gone, but his sister is apparently going to give him her old Macbook when she buys a new laptop roughly a year from now. Is it still worth it to get him his own? And if so, should it be a cheaper Netbook, or would he want a laptop, even though he doesn't game at all? Help! Any aid is appreciated!

Over The Hedge: Hammy Goes Nuts calls Hammy, RJ and Verne back into action. After they vanquished the exterminator from their land, a new menace has surfaced. Battle a crazy cat lady, a tool-toting handyman and Boris, an overly eager beaver, who has his own designs for Mother Nature. Fur and shell collide with kitty litter and satellite TV in this new addition to the Over the Hedge series.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Hammy is cute….Just not the movement controls for him.
The game play for hammy movement is super sensitive.I got annoyed with the game pretty quickly but decided to finish it.The story line was okay but similar to the movie but with a beaver.Gameplay was very short.Vern was way annoying!

5 Stars Best Game!
I bought this for my 7 yr. old neice as a birthday gift and she LOVES it. She says it’s one of her favorites and believe me, she has plenty!

5 Stars Good Game!
It’s a good game… However, my nephew prefers “Open Season” (Maybe because he played that a lot on the xbox)… Anyway, it’s an excellent choice and i totally recommend it!!!

Ghost Rider brings the demonic high-speed action of Marvel Comics’ cult character to your PSP. Based on the upcoming film, you’ll become Johnny Blaze – a circus stunt-rider who makes a deal with the Devil. To save his soul, he agrees to become a demonic agent & hunt down evil souls he can deliver to Hell. Featuring many of the characters and motorcycles from the comic book and upcoming movie, Ghost Rider will engage gamers in an immersive, supernatural third person world with a seamless blend of hand-to-hand combat and high-speed motorcycle action.

5 Stars Go Ghost Rider! Die Demons!
I was looking for some more T games for my PSP and came across this one. I bought it off of Ebay for $[...] and recieved it quickly. I don’t know why I didn’t buy this game a lot sooner! It is sooooo amazing and for the PSP too! When I started playing I couldn’t believe my eyes! The graphics are soooo realistic and soooo good especially the hell-cycle, Ghost Rider, the Demons, and the bosses! The sound is really good too, because when you hit demons with your chain, they cry in pain and also the hell-cycle sounds like a real motorcycle! Ghost Rider has a whole bunch of combos to destroy demons! The hell-cycle levels are extremely action packed, fast, furious and fun! There are also 30 levels! 30! The bosses are also cool and strong! I’m only one-fifth of the way through, but so far it is just awesome! I recommend this game for any Ghost Rider fan, or PSP owner! This game definatley deserves 5 stars and definatley worth the money! Now if they only made Ghost Rider for the 360.

5 Stars 9 Year Old’s Birthday Gift
Gave this to my grandson for his 9th Birtday, it was a challenge that he loves.

3 Stars Vengeance Flows Through Me!
Normally, games based on movies tend to be a bit lacking, but Marvel does tend to do a decent job with their’s (The first “Hulk” being the exception there). Ghost Rider falls into that niche of being decent, and maybe even a bit of a fun game.

The game starts off after the movie, with Johnny using his powers for good, and refusing to be Mephistopheles’ little errand boy. But the Rider is dragged into Hell, and is told that he’s the only one that could prevent Armageddon and send an army of rogue demons back to Hell. Once his girlfriend, Roxanne, is threatened, Ghost Rider reluctantly hunts down the demons and prevent the end of everything.

The game borrows a lot of elements from games like God of War and Devil May Cry. Tends to remind me of Evil Dead: Regeneration, also. Once you get all the moves unlocked, the fighting becomes the highlight of the game. The combos can be easily triggered, and it’s fun to see Ghost Rider use the variety of finishing moves for the elemental demons, and using his signature weapons and abilities (His chains, the Hellfire Shotgun, and the Penance Stare). And the Boss battles, I thought, were very challenging (for some reason, I really enjoyed fighting against Scarecrow). Plus, one of the unlockables has you playing the entire game as Blade. That’s so damn cool!

The game does fall short in a few areas, too. The motorcycle stages can be a lot of fun, but at times hard to control. And another thing. The game… can be finished in 3 and half hours. I bought the game last night and started playing it this afternoon and I finished a half hour ago. Sure, there are additional characters (Blade, Vengeance, Ghost Rider 2099), but I don’t know if that would make the game have that much higher a replay value. And the game’s cinematics were basically comic frames, no CGI movies.

One thing annoyed me little, one of the unlockables had pics from the movie, but one guy was absent. No pics of Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze, and none of Ghost Rider. Why? I mean, he is the star of the movie, right?

Overall, I’d say the game makes a terrific rental, but only hard core fans of the comic, movie, and maybe just Marvel alltogether should buy it. The game is fun, even if it felt a bit rushed.

5 Stars Great Game!!!
I have played and finished about a dozen PSP games, and this may be my number one favorite, if not a very close second. The whole environment draws you into the dark and disturbing nature of the quest. It is the only psp game I would consider replaying. There were even moments when I actually jumped during an unexpected weird scene. Best played as suggested with headphones and with the lights out. The puzzles are challenging, but not impossible. The boss monsters are somewhat simply to defeat, but it does not effect or damage the overall gaming experience. The only downside is that it is too short. I finished in just over 10 hours. Still, I highly recommend this title to any PSP owner.

5 Stars Very Satisfied
I bought this game for my boyfriend as a birthday gift. He loved it! He seriously played it everytime he had a spare minute. The game was in perfect condition and we have yet to have any problems with it! Thanks!

5 Stars Silent Hill Finally On PSP
A brilliant PSP version of the game we all love…I’m stuck hours on it!!! Can’t vouch for it not being bugged yet as I haven’t completed the whole game, but so far so good!!

4 Stars Silent Hill Fan
I’m still playing Silent Hill Origens for the first time. Having played Silent Hill 2 – 4 this version reminds me Silent Hill 2. I like the multiple puzzles and challenges in this version.

4 Stars How it all started…
I’ve kept up with SILENT HILL series since it debuted on the original Playstation console back in the mid-late nineties. Despite a few flaws, it has remained a high quality franchise that will always garner attention.

Naturally, SILENT HILL: ORIGINS for the PSP is a must play for fans of the series.

First I’ll focus on some of the things that bother me about this new entry into the series:

1) breakable weapons- There are tons of weapons you can find and use in this game, (everything from katana swords to assault rifles, even televisions…) but the only problem is that you can only use them a handful of times before they break and you lose them.

2) The control scheme takes time to get used to. It can feel awkward trying to fight monsters, check your map and status, or to change weapons and use items. Also, your character gets tired so quickly after running for a short time that you’ll get frustrated at how SLOW he walks around.

3) Combat is as awkward as it always has been… and more so in this one due to the fact that there are so many freaking enemies to fight. And they are way to strong for common enemies. Not to mention the fact that health items are so few and far between.

4) The game is way too short. By the time you are getting into the story and characters, it’s over.

Now, enough of negative stuff… Let’s focus on some positive things:

1)The graphics are pretty good for SILENT HILL and game itself is pretty well put together.

  2) The music and sound effects are up to the standard that this series is famous for. My advice, play with headphones. It adds to the total experience.

  3) The story is interesting. It is a prequel to the original Playstation game and does a good job explaining events and characters from that original game.

4) It’s SILENT HILL and it’s PORTABLE. That in itself is an awesome prospect.

Despite a few flaws, I’d recommend this to SILENT HILL fans. It’s a nice addition to your psp library.
