Open Question: PSP vs. PSP 3000 vs. PSP Go- Which to buy?!?

So, I have finally decided to get a PSP and cannot figure out which to get. I did plan on getting a PSP 3000, but I started finding all these articles on how Sony is going more and more digital so the UMD will be obsolete. Is it worth spending the extra money to buy the PSP Go, or just get the PSP 3000 and download the newer games and use the UMD for the older ones? (If you couldn't tell, I'm a complete n00b at all this!) I realize people have various opinions about this, but I would love to get your takes! Thanks! With the answers thus far, I have a few questions: what is firmware 1.50? Is PSP 3000 just a prettier PSP? The previous two also come with downloading capabilities, yes?

I have a 1gb memory stick and a 5.00m33 CFW on my PSP fat. I recently encountered the joy of putting ISO's onto my mem stick but it ran out of room and i like all the games that i put in the ISO folder. I am not going to delete any and i need to know: is it possible for me to delete or remove the files from an existing UMD for my PSP and then is it possible for me to add to them an ISO or CSO file? if so pleeeeeaaassseeee explain it to me :)
