The Sims 2 Pets

December 27th, 2009 PSP Reviews No comments

The Sims 2 Pets

The Sims 2: Pets gives your Sims the chance to raise & care for a pet! Choose from a variety of existing breeds, and hot designer mixes, but they’ll also be able to personally design their new friend. Teach them new tricks, take them for a romp in the park, outfit them with new pet accessories and even give them a job! As in real life, your Sims’ pet will require care and training. A neglected cat with an urge to scratch might claw up your new couch if you aren’t careful, and leaving your dog unattended near a freshly planted flower bed probably isn’t wise. With so many different animals to choose from, there’s no telling what could occur!

2 Stars Fun, could be better.
I really think that this game is a really fun game, and having it portable on the PSP is awesome. The thing I didn’t like about it though is that I felt like I was always waiting for it to load. Even when I was in the middle of game play, the game would slow down for it to load. I felt like EA must not have tested this game much, or else they would have discovered that obvious bug.

4 Stars I HOPE YOU’RE PATIENT
THIS GAME IS FUN. THESE PETS DEF. HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN. I DON’T KNOW WHO TAUGHT THEM HOW TO PEE ON THE CARPET BUT WHATEVER… LOL

4 Stars Uh….I may need some help with this one
Ok, I am not a true Sims fan so I may be a bit biased when it comes to this game. I find it to be a bit on the boring side. I may have to continue playing around with it and see what “new features” I encounter along the way. If anyone can offer suggestions on game play, please inform.

4 Stars Very Happy
Showed up on time and in great condition! I get sucked into playing it for hours =)

5 Stars FANTASTIC GAME
This game is great for the Playstation Portable. I just love it. It is very similar to the console version for the Playstation 2. I love it because I can carry the miniature version with me. It has great graphics too. I love the shops, the pet store, the emporium, the bakery, etc., These are the awesome places where you can buy your pet all kinds of wonderful food, toys, treats and even clothes. Great game, I love it.

5 Stars Like it better than Off The Rails ds
I brought Thrillville Off The Rails for the ds. I thought it was alright. So i decided to buy this one for psp. I like it so much better than the one for the ds. Even though its not touchscreen, i feel like there’s so much more that can be done.

5 Stars I love this game!
This game has so much to do, it’s unreal. Yet everything is so real, you manage the park in every way including advertising, marketing, and research. It teaches people how to handle money better I think.

4 Stars A Thrilling Ride
I was always a big fan of theme park games. I loved the idea of being able to do so. When I bought my PSP, I was lookin for games that I would have fun playing, and that would kill some time as well. I came across this game, and I’ll admit, I was a bit skeptical at first. But this game didn’t disappoint me. Not only can I create my own park, but I can play games, ride the rides, and interact with the customers! This game is hours of fun, and I enjoy it everytime I turn it on. Definitely a great game to have, if you like havin fun while killin some time!

5 Stars This is one heck of a game!
If you like building rollercoaster’s or like simulator games than this game is for you. Thrillville is a game were you build your own theme park and can buy games and rides for your park, or even design your own! You can interact with your customers and see what they think about your park. And if you really like rollercoaster’s you can even ride them! The graphics are pretty good and the music isn’t actually annoying. To tell you the truth the music is actually played as it would be on an actual radio station which changes as you change parks. This game is really great and i would recommend it for anyone.

5 Stars An amazing PSP game!
I had already had this game for PS2 but when I bought a PSP, I decided to buy it for the PSP as well. I was worried that it wouldn’t be as fun as the PS2 game but, thankfully, I was wrong.

So what’s this game all about? You play as a theme park manager. You must run the park, build rides, maintain them, and complete missions in order to move onto the next park. The missions are in 5 different categories (build, games, upkeep, business, and guests). Although the missions are the main part of the game, there are plenty of other fun things you can do with this game. You’re allowed to ride the actual rides, play mini-games, chat with your guests, train your employees, and so much more.

The graphics on this game are awesome. The different sections of the theme park are so cool (themes include dinosaurs, ogres, wild west, and more). It’s easy to maneuver your character around. The minigames are not hard to play in terms of using the PSP buttons. The sound isn’t annoying. I’ve had this game for about a week and I play everyday without a bit of boredom. If you like rollercoaster type games or simulation games, buy this. You won’t regret it.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Exciting
Graphics were better than I thought; the game had an awsome plot throughout. It took me a week to beat the game cuz I was constanlty into it. Awsome game!

5 Stars A great “light simulator” game
This is one of the best games in the genre (not a real simulation, but a FUN light-arcade-sim)

The story is very engaging, the music is INCREDIBLE and the graphics STILL look good after 5 years.

I recommend it to all fans of the genre out there.

5 Stars Extremely Realistic!
First off, I’m a new/casual gamer. I don’t play that much. But I always wanted to fly jets, so I decided to buy a PS/2 and pickup an aircraft simulator. This one had excellent reviews, so I decided to give it a try. It’s certainly worth it!!! The heads-up-display is extremely accurate. If you’ve ever seen Top Gun with Tom Cruise then expect the same with this game! Because of this, there was definitely a learning curve, but the game has a 14 step tutorial that introduces you to flight terminology and acrobatics, and won’t let you take the next step until you have successfully completed the current one. The only thing that really trip me up is the fictional wars and names. The game is SO real and life-like until you actually believe you’re fighting one of our past wars like Desert Storm or Vietnam, so when you get your briefing and you hear these “other” names it kind of throws you off. But thats it! This is one true to life gaming experience!

4 Stars Fun in the Sky
I’m new to the Ace Combat series. I found this game to be enjoyable. Graphics are superb.

3 Stars SHort but good
I love the game, but I thought that it went by a little too fast. It neede to be longer.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great Action
This is a very real type fishing game. It’s not overly difficult to play and a lot of fun.

2 Stars we dont really care for the game
the game itself we dont care for but the fast service we recieved was very great

4 Stars Relaxing game…
I like this game for PSP! I’m not a gamer, and I just wanted a fishing game with good graphics and nature sounds. You can mute the annoying music in the “options” of the game, leaving only the sounds of the streams and fish. I recommend it, especially if you like to fish!
