User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Perfect protection for the PSP Slim
Provides great protection for the entire PSP, including the screen. Note that it is for the PSP Slim, not the older, thicker PSP. I originally bought it for my daughter who has the older PSP, and it did not work. My granddaughter has the new slim PSP and it works GREAT for her.

1 Star wrong part shipped to me
the case i received was not the correct case. the case in the pics is for the original psp (thats what i needed)… the case i received looked nothing like the pics and didnt fit my sons psp…the case i received must be for the psp 2000/3000 not the original psp

1 Star VER BAD PRODUCT…
Eforcity is a great seller. A+. smooth transactions and very fast shipping, BUT this product is the worst, pictures are real nice here, but the final product is badly manufactured and very uncomforable for real players, it is great if you want to put your psp away and nothing will happen to it, but playing with it is awefull ! NOT RECOMMMENDED !!! the best cover or case for the psp while playing is the silicone ones !

3 Stars not for slim.
I bought This accessory without taking into consideration to which device it is applicable. A good protector though. but can’t comment on it honestly since I’ve got but the slim.

for slim users, you don’t want This. your PSp will be shaking inside like a pen in a lens case. There’s no way to fit the headset while in it for the slim. You might end up even scratching your system than protecting it, since it will seem like a kid putting on his parent’s shoe.

5 Stars Great deal!
It was exactly what was advertised and it was received in a timely manner. This case will protect your PSP from scratches or hits.

Highly recommended.

Hitech USB Data Cable and Charger for Sony PSP

Hitech USB Data Cable and Charger for Sony PSP

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars USB Data and Charge cable
The cable works great with my PSP slim, exactly what I was looking for. It charges and transfers data at the same time via USB.

5 Stars Hitech – USB Data Cable and Charger for Sony PSP
What is this item?

Quite simply put, this item is a necessity for swapping files between your PSP and Computer. While current 2000-3000 Series are said to be able to charge from their USB port, I have yet to find my 2000 Series take a decent charge from one using a standard USB cable.

This cable offers two functions in one, eliminating the need to carry an AC adapter and USB patch cable. When plugged into the Power port and USB, this cable will allow you to charge the PSP, transfer files, or play from USB power.

The wires are long enough to connect to the MiniUSB port at the top of the PSP-2000 and the AC Power port at the bottom right. While it does reach to accommodate both ports on the system, there is not a lot of play either way and it almost feels like a tight fit. This can be useful as it allows the item a snug fit without worry one side would fall out, but a little additional room on either cord would be nice.

The only drawbacks I see is that: (1) not everyone will need to charge or swap files from a PC or PS3, (2) You need an Open USB port to charge from. Additionally, if charging from a laptop, you will drain battery power

I found this cable extremely handy and simply leave it at work. This is so I don’t have to carry the AC adapter with me to work. I use my PSP as a music player in the car and occasionally for Wifi Network Maintenance at work. So having one less item in my pocket is one less thing I may forget at home or the office.

I would strongly suggest purchasing two of these, as it is quite easy to find these available for less than $4 each.

5 Stars usb data cable and charger for psp
this is awesome to charge your psp on the go with your laptop and you can add information to it easily at the same time

5 Stars Very useful
This is a very convenient way to recharge a PSP if you’re on a computer often.

It’s especially useful for those with laptops.

MLB 07 The Show

September 13th, 2009 PSP Reviews No comments

MLB 07 The Show

MLB 07: The Show delivers online baseball action the way it should be. The franchise now introduces the all-new Road to The Show mode, enabling gamers to play both offense and defense from the created player’s perspective. With the Adaptive Pitching Intelligence (API) feature, catchers will call the game based on the individual strengths and weaknesses of each pitcher as well as analyze tendencies of batters. Gamers will now have the ability to either trust the pitches called by the catcher or shake them off. Online League Play offers customizable leagues with up to 30 teams, complete with full stat tracking, point benefits and rewards. The My Sliders feature allows users to create their perfect game settings and upload them to the MLB 07 The Show server for others to try out.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Good Game
Very good game,I also own MLB 08 but the MBL 07 is a better game.

3 Stars A decent baseball game
My favorite baseball game ever was MLB 2k5 for PS2. The controls were spot on, it was hardly ever glitchy, and the graphics were pretty good for that day and age. However, after buying a PSP, I realized I wanted a quick baseball game as it is that time of year. Not wanting to shell out the extra bucks for MLB 08 or 2k8 (since graphics aside, there isn’t that much year-to-year difference anyway), I picked this up. First, let me say the graphics are high-PS2 caliber, and that is saying A LOT for a PSP game. For a very small screen, they cram a lot of stuff in, the only downside being the total lack of detail on players’ faces. Another thing this game does very well is totally immerse you in a highly realistic baseball experience. Some games (most, really) still leave you feeling less like a manager and more like a 20-year old who’s sitting on his parents couch playing his PSP. However, this does a very nice job of all the small things, whether you’re in season, career, or quick play mode.

Now for the controls. I really love the batting and the “guess the pitch” controls, and pitching is wondeful as well. Fielding is decent, but the fielders seem really stupid, a routine ground ball will sometimes not be thrown to first in time just because the fielder didn’t throw it hard enough (and I turned the throwing strength slider all the way up and nothing changed). But now we come to the part of the game I hate most: the baserunning. First, it’s extremely hard to control, and second, the baserunners only obey you about half the time, which makes for an unholy mess. The AI is suspicious as well, it is very easy to cheat. (For example, if a runner is on third and there is only one out, simply bunt along the first base line and the fielders throw to first every time, giving you an easy run).

Online play and gamesharing are completely underwhelming. I have done both at least three or four times and every single time, the pitching was off for both players. I could not control where I was going to pitch, and my opponent could not control what he was going to pitch. It was also really really laggy and glitchy.

It’s a decent game, and most likely the best baseball game on PSP, but very disappointing in the MLB franchise.

5 Stars MLB 07 Rules
MLB 07 is the best sports game on the psp system period. The graphics and sounds of the ballparks are the real deal.

3 Stars Overall good game with a few setbacks
I enjoyed the game with exception to a few glitches. The only time on career mode that the manager let me throw a complete game was when I was close to throwing a perfect game. There were times when the manager pulled me with 1 out left in the game and a shutout was still intact. You can question the decision but the common response was that he saw that I was tiring or that sometimes he says that he should have left me in longer, but the bottom line is your player/pitcher gets pulled, having it impossible to complete some goals such as getting complete games, etc… Then there are times when the fielders double clutch, resulting in what should be errors but the computer always gives them hits, which goes against your player/pitcher’s avg. against.

With exception to those glitches, I enjoy the hitting, pitching and fielding aspects of the game.

3 Stars If it’s all you got!
I just recently bought a PSP and got this game so I could play some baseball. The graphics are amazing. I have only played the season so far and havn’t tried anything else. Some of the aspects of playing the game are garbage. I had a guy hit an in-the-park homerun by running from second across the pithcers mound and home. I have had runners go from first to thrid by crossing the diamond and have had runners run past second and all the way to the centerfield wall. I did want that guy to go home but not literally. I watched David Ortiz take a pitch that should have hit him in the chin and hit it 400 feet over the Green Monster. Right. Throwing the ball from the outfield is always fun. I tried to throw a guy out at second and hit the button to throw the ball to second and for some reason the ball went to home plate. When the ball is first hit who you are going to control is always a fun guess. On a ball hit that one would think the second baseman is going to get for some reason I have control of the shortstop. It wouldn’t bother me to much if the second basement would get off his lazy butt and go after the ball. That is some of the problems I am having with this game. I keep playing it cause I’m stuck in Iraq and don’t have much else to do to pass the time away. I’m thinking about buying a new baseball game, but I guess this will have to do for the time being. If it’s all you got, it’s all you got.
