5 Stars liked it!
on ps2 this game woulsnt work but on psp its great! its best enjoyed on hard mode.checkpoints heal and revive heroes doing away with annoying potion collecting. like dc? got a psp? this game is a mandatory must!

4 Stars Its actually pretty good.
I didn’t like this game at first, but once i got further into the game and developed my heroes more it became enjoyable. I liked the xmen legends series and this one is similiar. Superman and Green Lantern are probably the most fun to play with. I actually considered picking this up on ps2 just to play it on a bigger screen. If you like DC characters and the xmen legends style, give this one a try.

4 Stars Justice League Heroes
While it’s no Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Justice League Heroes does offer up the chance to play as the best that the DCU has to offer. The graphics are good as is the rock-em sock-em simplistic approach to gameplay. The only real downside is the lack of characters to choose from and the lack of a whole lot of wardrobe changes. All in all, though, a good game for anybody who likes Action/Adventure games.

5 Stars A GREAT GAME
This game worths the money I spent! My sons loved the game, the graphics, the theme, the challenges presented in every situation. A must-have.

4 Stars Really good–A DC fan’s dream game…
This game came out against Marvel’s “Ultimate Alliance”, and I heard it wasn’t as good. I now have both games, and while it’s not the same animal as M:UA, it’s a great game in it’s own way. As others have noted, it’s probably closer to the X-Men: Legends games. But historically, games featuring Batman and Superman have really sucked. This is probably the best game featuring the DC Characters EVER: Bats, Supes, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, John Stewart Green Lantern (Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner GL’s also unlockable), Flash, and Zatanna (who quickly became my favorite) are the main playable characters. Green Arrow and others are able to be bought as you play through the game. This may the game’s weakest point, that you only get to play with 2 characters at once, and only have character selection at certain points in the game.

The game’s other strong points: graphics (the cut scenes look weird at first but actually get even more awesome as you progress), sound, music, characterization and story (by comic/JLA cartoon writer Dwayne McDuffie) are also almost perfect. The game also has replay value–as you progress you power up your characters more and more, and can replay through the game with your powers on a different skill level.

In short, JL:H has been overshadowed by other games, but is highly Recommended.

5 Stars hack link
It’s kind of fun to play at first. But after the first round though the whole game, it gets boring. Ever character’s story has the same runway, no matter you choose Sonic or Shadow

4 Stars Sonic Rivals 2
The game was new as promise, and I was very satisfied with the delivery time the next day.

3 Stars Review for Sonic Rival
It’s kind of fun to play at first. But after the first round though the whole game, it gets boring. Ever character’s story has the same runway, no matter you choose Sonic or Shadow. The story plot isn’t good as well, they started with this odd conversation and start running.

Overall the run is okay, singature moves are pretty interesting and disturbing.

But the plot and unchaning runway make the game unworthy for long time play but instead a short once in a while.

5 Stars Sonic Rivals 2
I got this for xmas and the game is fun and I can play my favourite charecter Tails. The bad news is he can’t fly just like in Sonic 2 game the Mega Drive. You can make Tails fly sometimes by pressing the 0 button on the PSP. It is still a good game!

1 Star WASTE OF YOUR F#$%&ing MONEY
This game really sucks! First of all the graphics are friggin horrible, it’s like watching blurred t.v. Second freeplay really sucks you can’t kill any civilians and if you slightly tap a cop car they start chasing you. This game is like my title a waste of money.

3 Stars Ok
This game is ok if you want a cheap portable Driver3 game. It is kinda fun to drive around London but if you get in trouble the cops will never stop chasing you. The graphics are lame to.

5 Stars Lost of fun, replayable
This game is a lot of fun. It uses a GTA approach. There are a bunch of mini games in the game as well that you can play. I particularly like playing darts. In this game, you choose a gang that you will be in and try to conquer all of the territories in London. It is lots of fun and is easy to get the hang of.

1 Star not as good as I thought it would be
This game was not fun for me at all!!!!! This game is cartoonish and the graphics suck. The only thing good about this game is the gang battles and after awhile that gets boring also. I downloaded this game of the playstation network for $12.99 and it was not worth it.

4 Stars Gangs of London
The best part of the game is the story line. To add, the introduction before every mission is very captivating. This alone keeps you wanting to beat every mission and go on to another one. I however expected more blood and actually thought heads would fall off or at least be able to have head shots and see the blood spray out. However, all in all, its a good game.

5 Stars Great Game!
I played the PSP version of Tomb Raider: Legend before I played it on any other console and I enjoyed it a lot! The UMD Disc seems like it is completely filled up with this game! It has everything the console versions have and more! It includes extra outfits and extra multiplayer challenges. Treasure Hunt is finding treasures scattered around levels seen in the game and new environments. Beat The Clock is getting to the finish line with many obstacles in the way and it has many different obstacles to choose from. The controls aren’t the best for PSP, but you get used to them after a while. The game has a great story which is concluded in Tomb Raider: Underworld. There are also many unlockables including character bios, concept art, music, outfits, cinematics and more! I recommend it to anyone that wants a new PSP game and loves adventure games although I prefer it on Xbox 360, but it doesn’t have the PSP exclusives.

4 Stars Very good game – I enjoyed it
This is a very good action/adventure game for the PSP. It is one of the few actions games that is not a shooter, although there is quite a bit of gun play at times.

It took me quite awhile to play the entire game, which is good. There is quite a bit there. Excellent graphics, very good story. The biggest knock would be the controls. It is very easy to send Lara over a cliff because your joystick was not positioned just so when you made her jump. Other than that, I really enjoyed the game a lot. A must-have for PSP if you like action/adventure games.

4 Stars Awkward controls mar gameplay
I’m writing this review with the hope that the makers of the game will fix the future releases of this franchise. As a big fan of the Syphon Filter series, I’ve always found the controls on the Tomb Raider series to be very awkward compared to Syphon Filter. The “camera” does not automatically follow Lara making it difficult to line up precise jumps. It’s also very difficult to get Lara to face the direction you want. In the Syphon Filter series, the camera is always where it needs to be and the movement of the character is precise. Why the game makers have never bothered to fix this flaw is beyond me. Nevertheless, once you get over the awkward movements, the gameplay itself is fun.

4 Stars Find out for yourself what you think…
I will be the first to admit that I rely heavily on Video Game websites to find out what games are good and what games aren’t that good. This game received negative press on most of those websites and so I was hesitant to play it. A friend let me play it and I found it very enjoyable. Most of the reviews I have read complain that the controls are awkward compared to the consoles but of course they are going to be different, you are playing a PSP not a PS2 or Xbox with two analog sticks.

I didn’t find the controls difficult and I think this game is really fun. I like figuring out the different puzzles and the graphics are amazing. Another good thing is there is a lot of replay value because you can search for hidden medallions and hold time trials.

All in all, I was glad I found out for myself that this game is REALLY good.

5 Stars this is what the psp is all about
the games keep getting better and better first ridge race , grand theft auro liberty city storys , syphone filter, james bond from russia with love all awesome in there own right . you have been waiting months for tomb raider and its finally here. this is sure to be a classic. with out giving away any of the story the graphics are nice of course we all know the psp is not an xbox . but i remember space invaders and pac man. yes im an old dude but young at heart this game is hi quality and will not dissapoint you lara does it all sincerly christian j nielsen. ps the soundtracks are also very cool. go for it. without giving the game away you can actually control lara as she dives underwater and look for treasure . she also has an assortment of gear to help her out guns , ammo , grappling hooks , grenades ok ill shut up now one of the best games out there . load time could be faster but its really not that bad justa few seconds

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

July 29th, 2009 PSP Reviews No comments

Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince

In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Voldemort is tightening his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds and Hogwarts is no longer the safe haven it once was. Harry suspects that dangers may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle that he knows is fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemort’s defenses and, to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague, the well-connected and unsuspecting bon vivant Professor Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Meanwhile, the students are under attack from a very different adversary as teenage hormones rage across the ramparts. Harry finds himself more and more drawn to Ginny, but so is Dean Thomas. And Lavender Brown has decided that Ron is the one for her, only she hadn’t counted on Romilda Vane’s chocolates! And then there’s Hermione, simmering with jealously but determined not to show her feelings. As romance blossoms, one student remains aloof. He is determined to make his mark, albeit a dark one. Love is in the air, but tragedy lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.
In the game, players will return to Hogwarts to help Harry survive a fraught sixth year. They will also have a chance to engage in exciting wizard duels, mix and brew magical ingredients in Potions class and take to the air to lead the Gryffindor Quidditch team to victory. Players may even get sidetracked by Ron’s romantic entanglements as they journey towards a dramatic climax and discover the identity of the Half-Blood Prince.
